If you are searching for a welcoming community of professional women in the arts, you have come to the right place!  We are a group of inspired women in all arts: writing, painting, photography, fabric art, music composition, public speaking and more. Our mission is to offer our members enriching programs, lectures, and workshops as well as creative support through critique sessions, shared experiences, and friendship.

Membership in our branch includes affiliation with our national organization. The NLAPW was founded in 1897 and is headquartered in Washington, DC, with branches throughout the United States. The League’s journal, The Pen Woman, is published quarterly and provides many opportunities to members for publishing their work, submitting to national contests, and learning about upcoming workshops and conferences. For more information about the NLAPW, visit www.nlapw.org.

We meet in the Twin Cities the second Thursday morning of the month, 10 AM – Noon, September to May.  Visitors are warmly welcomed. (“Contact US” link) To learn more, follow us on Facebook “National League of American Pen Women Minnesota Branch”.and Twitter.  We hope to see you soon!
